Upper Trinity Watershed Partners works to build capacity in groups and individuals across the Upper Trinity River Basin (North Central Texas area), with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of efforts to protect and preserve water and other critical natural resources.
The VISION of the Upper Trinity Watershed Partners (UTWP) is to have all citizens in the Upper Trinity River Basin understand the benefits and functions of water as a critical natural and economic resource and to be knowledgeable about the water supply, water quality, and watershed issues so that they can make informed decisions about its use.
The UTWP's principal GOAL is to establish a collaborative partnership among water stakeholders to educate all citizens living in the Upper Trinity River Basin about the importance of water to the economy and ecology of the basin and to promote the protection, wise use, and conservation of this important resource.
