ELIGIBILITY
Any organization or individual in North Texas actively involved in water education and willing to share in the following goals can become a member:
- Share the vision and goals of the UTWP Program.
- Participate in the Program by joining a task force, working group or other volunteer efforts.
- Provide your input and put your talents to use where feasible.
- Foster the communications network by sharing information about your activities and programs.
HOW TO BECOME INVOLVED IN THE UTWP PROGRAM
- Review the Vision, Goals and Initial Objectives of the UTWP Program
- List and evaluate your current water/watershed education programs
- Determine if your organization could benefit by communicating regularly with other Partner members on projects of mutual interest
- Determine if you want to be part of a Communications Network related to water/watershed education
- Learn about trainings and events that benefit your organization
- Gain a new audience for your organization’s programs
- Determine if you are interested in coordination of activities with other water/watershed stakeholders in the Upper Trinity River Basin
- Enhance your current programs through improved timing of events
- Incorporate other Partner’ activities into your scope of interactions
- Determine if you are interested in project collaboration Create New programs with other Partners
- Support existing Partners programs through your staff, clientele, materials and resources
If you determine that your organization has a shared commitment that would be enhanced by participating in the Water Ed Partners Program, please contact the Water Education Contact – to be made an official member of the program.
